Jim Hicks Air (locally known as Hicks Air) is a family-owned and -operated residential and commercial heating, cooling and refrigeration company in Shelbyville, Indiana. We are located approximately 25 minutes from the southeast side of Indianapolis.

We specialize in heating, cooling, and refrigeration installation and repair. We are a client-focused business and are committed to satisfying clients’ heating, cooling, and refrigeration needs. We are an authorized factory dealer for Bryant, Bosch, Trane, and Mitsubishi.

Hicks Air was founded by Jim Hicks in 2008, with over 30 years of experience in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning industry under his belt. The company was started as a one-man operation focused on residential and commercial repairs from Jim’s garage. He moved the business to its current location on South Noble Street in 2010, and expanded the business from a one-man operation to a full-service heating and cooling company with teams specialize in repair & service, installation, and office tasks.

His vision was to build a trusting and reliable company that delivers quality work and excellent client service to all customers. At Hicks Air, customers are treated as clients, we do whatever it takes for client satisfaction.

Since 2011, the company has been recognized as the Best of the Best HVAC/R company in Shelby County in 9 consecutive years.
